Before work begins, we may ask you to remove small items, delicate objects, electronics, ornaments, or anything that could be damaged by movement, moisture, or cleaning solutions. We are not responsible for damage to items left in the working area where such damage arises from the item’s condition, insufficient removal by the customer, or an existing defect. If a surface, fixture, or item is fragile, aged, or already damaged, you should tell us in advance. We may refuse to clean items that present an unreasonable risk.

If we cause proven damage through negligence, our liability is limited to the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of the affected item, taking account of age, condition, and depreciation, or the amount paid for the specific service, whichever is lower, except where such limitation is not permitted by law. We are not liable for loss of profit, business interruption, loss of opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Customer responsibilities. To help ensure safe and effective carpet cleaning, you must provide a working water supply, electricity, and reasonable access to the areas being cleaned unless we have agreed otherwise. You must also disclose known hazards such as mould, asbestos suspicion, pest infestation, sharps, sewage contamination, or other hazardous substances. If we discover a condition that poses a risk to health, safety, or equipment, we may stop work immediately and leave the premises without completing the service.

You remain responsible for protecting sensitive surfaces, high-value items, and personal belongings that are not intended to be cleaned. Where parking, loading, or access restrictions apply, you should inform us in advance so that any necessary arrangements can be considered. Any delay caused by incomplete information, blocked access, or failure to prepare the area may be charged if it affects our ability to complete the scheduled work or causes us to remain on site longer than expected.

Waste regulations and disposal. As part of our carpet cleaning services, we may remove waste water, soil residues, used cloths, disposable materials, or packaging generated during the work. We handle waste in accordance with applicable UK waste management requirements and expect customers to do the same. Waste water, cleaning residue, and contaminated materials must not be disposed of in a way that breaches environmental rules or local authority requirements. Where specialist disposal is needed, for example for heavily contaminated materials, we may charge an additional fee.

Any prepaid amount may be used toward the rescheduled service or refunded if no alternative can reasonably be arranged.

Complaints and disputes. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, you should raise the issue as soon as possible so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, return to assess the matter. We may request photographs, a description of the concern, and reasonable access to inspect the treated area. Complaints made after a significant delay may be harder to assess, especially where the area has been used, altered, or re-soiled. We will handle complaints in a fair and practical manner.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with the service, the booking, or these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that part will be treated as removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the terms will continue in full force.
